As someone from the city I usually don‘t get to see wild nature - if that is even still possible in this day and age.
What I do see is human-shaped. I call it artificial nature, for we humans have interfered in nature, changed her irreversibly and made her something new. The artificial can show in an impossible perfection or in rather silly ways, while other times there seems to be no difference between natural and artificial at all.
Artificial nature unfolds to me in a familiar and yet strange beauty - may it be grown in a pot, broken through stone, fed by artificial light or chained to fences.
